Can you do me a favour?

Am I the only one who feels horrible for asking someone else for a favour? This is especially the case when I have to ask someone who I haven't kept in touch with for a while. It's like hey it's been so long... can you do this for me? I don't know. It just seems so unnatural to me but then again, sometimes it's inevitable. I apologize for ever having to ask you for a favour. If there's anything I can do for you, please let me know.
